Is it possible to make money on plugins for Chrome and other browsers and is it worth developing in this direction?
Hello. For some needs, I developed several plugins for Google Chrome. One works as a full-fledged application (SPA with REST API on AngularJS), the other is applied, for parsing the content of open tabs. I like the process of creation and use, but it is not entirely clear whether such products can be monetized. Please advise in which direction to dig in order to make money on extensions, and whether it is worth pursuing this direction in general. Thanks in advance.

Sometimes freelancing comes across tasks for creating plugins. But not very often.
Worth it, especially for Google's Chrome browsers.
It is a plugin for working with an electronic signature.
Here is something like this Crypto Plugin
AdBlock makes very, very good money.
При том, что 10 аналогичных плагинов вообще не приносят авторам доход.
Все от тебя зависит.
It is possible to monetize, and I would even say it is necessary. You do it, you make a cool extension, you dream about how the user will carry you in his arms, but in the end: "There is no support", "It has not been updated for a long time", "How to remove the extension?" and other similar reviews, and at the same time, any mention of a donation is regarded as begging. There are many ASPs that use white hat methods to display ads through your extensions and will bring in a good income. But, like everywhere else, there are some nuances here, the main ones are that your profit will be directly dependent on geo users and the audience in general. If you are interested, write to me on skype max.monetizus, I will tell you more.
