Is it possible to make money developing plugins for various CRMs?

Hello everyone
I noticed that in Bitrix24, AmoCRM and other systems there is a market with various applications. Has anyone worked seriously in this direction, is it possible to earn adequate money on some solutions or do users rarely bet or buy something?

If the solution is really high-quality and solves the problem, then they buy it. For example, Bitrix24 has a very weak task management process. This is problem. The guys from Siberia muddied a high-quality plugin that implements a kanban board and, at the same time, is synchronous with tasks from Bitrix24 itself. This is a solution that simplifies life and saves time, and for a business, employee time = money, so the business is willing to pay for it.
I recommend focusing on a medium business or a high segment of a small business when choosing an idea for a plugin. More likely to be willing to pay. A small, starting business simply does not have the opportunity for extra spending and prefers free solutions, while a large one, most often, when using industrial CRMs, orders their customization and refinement for themselves, so that they may no longer need additional plugins.
Still, a strategy is possible, which is carried out by the same Bitrix24 and many other SaaS products. Free version for little ones, with the expectation that they will grow up and take the paid version without restrictions. But here it is worth considering that some of these small ones will not survive in the conditions of the Russian market, and the part that survives and grows will have to wait 1-3 years (i.e. 1-3 years they will use the free version before they need to remove it limits and pay)
