Is it possible to make a web server on 2 devices?
I welcome everyone. The thing is, my friend and I have a common site, or rather a site on a local web server. The server itself is on my computer, which is extremely inconvenient. Is it possible to put a web server on 2 devices? Now I will explain, that is, it is necessary to make it so that my friend, in the absence of my PC, can run a web server. At the same time, I can also run the server.
In the concept, everything seems to be simple, we have 2 PCs, both have server files, one of us starts the server and changes something there. Then the second one comes and simply updates the file directory, and these changes also appear in him.
Option with hosting and 3 PC server is not suitable due to unprofitability (for students)
PS While writing, I remembered that there is git, and it can probably be attached somehow. But there is a desire to listen to smarter people with their ideas.

If we are talking only about the consistency of files - you yourself answered: there is git, or any other version control system.
