It is possible, but fraught with problems. In particular, support for the Hyper-V network appeared only in FreeBSD 10.0, and pfSense, as far as I remember, is still based on FreeBSD 8.X. But even if they have already crawled to 9, it doesn't change much.
In order for the network to work in a virtual fra on Hyper-V, you need to supply Legacy network adapters there, and you also have to pull them after a reboot (i.e. do ifconfig down / up) so that the network rises in the virtual machine. It happens that she does not immediately rise. There is also a limit on the size of the disk and its type. Those. thin provisioning for a disk with virtual frey will not work, you will need to do a fixed disk. Our disks crashed with a size of more than 20 GB - the frya fell into the crust.
If you are ready to put up with this rake, then you can bet. But I would recommend making a clean freu 10.1 - it fully supports the Hyper-V network and no problems were noticed.
Or virtualize pfSense on something else. On VMware or VirtualBox.

Use Proxmox\VmWare Esxi. Reviews are positive.

2.2.4 already on the 10th Fre, should work without the described rake. It works for me, but so far the time of use is about a month.
