How to restore a virtual machine disk file for docker (Hyper-V)?

There was a problem with the file DockerDesktop.vhdx.
This happened when the volume ran out of space.
Without moving the files, I chopped off free space from the neighboring volume and added the missing space to the disk.

Docker never started, it offers to reset the data, this will lead to the complete deletion of all data on the virtual disk DockerDesktop.vhdx.

How to restore DockerDesktop.vhdx?

Why can't you do "Edit virtual disk -> Expand"?
or
Make a new larger DockerDesktop.vhdx disk and clone it with dd?
or mount it in another machine and remove unnecessary?
