Is it possible to infect a site through a computer?
Good afternoon.
The question arose:
Here, for example, Kaspersky antivirus is installed on the computer, it is checked for viruses every day (nothing has ever been found). From this computer, sites are edited via FTP access. And sometimes some sites pick up viruses. The viruses of these sites are sometimes different, sometimes the same. And not all sites get infected, but only 20-25%. Is it possible to assert that the computer from which the files were edited is infected with some kind of virus?

Unlikely. Websites are usually infected through vulnerabilities in their scripts. I have not seen such viruses that would upload themselves via ftp. You can make sure that this is the case by studying the virus and looking for its description. You can usually find what vulnerabilities it uses and how the infection occurs.
