Is it possible to have two monitors in terminal mode, without XWindows?

I have an archlinux workstation with two monitors. Sometimes you want, and just wondering if it's possible, to open two consoles on two monitors without running startx
If it matters, NVidia video card, proprietary driver from offsite, DWM window manager from suckless.org (light, two monitors without xrandr, but of course not without Xserver) Ready to try another card, another driver. another nix*OS to get two consoles on two monitors on one machine.
Out of the box, of course, the second monitor without X just does not glow.
I want to startx, without x's, press something+alt+F2 and get a second console on a second monitor.

As an option, try tmux
and here they also write about kmscon
