Is it possible to find out by e-mail who is writing to me?

I have a feeling that the same scammer is emailing me from different email addresses. Whether it is possible to check up somehow on properties of the letter, whether letters are sent from one ip or not?

The Received headers in reverse order show the entire path of the letter.

It happens that it is possible, it happens that it is not, but what difference does it make, one scammer or many of them?
