Is it possible to find a job as a C++ developer?

Gentlemen, what do you think, is it realistic to find a job in Kiev that meets the following requirements:
- gcc version 4.5 and higher (so that you can use at least something from C ++ 11)
- using git / mercurial
- having a bug tracker and testers
- at least any documentation for the project. A controversial point, the main thing is that there should not be a rule “every newbie must first ask veterans everything for at least six months.”
is a project that is under active development. I don’t care how old he is, I want the programmers to be 100% loaded at the moment. Regular releases, bug fixes, etc.

And what qualities/skills should a person have to get into such a dream company?

Forgive me, but I don’t understand at all what the difficulty is to go to hh or analogues and search for these requirements yourself, didn’t you write anything unusual in your requirements?
The presence of a version control system, a bug tracker and testers is a sign of any more or less normal office. Which in Kyiv, I have no doubt enough.
Or put the question differently, tell me the offices in Kyiv in which, and further in the text ...

Businesses are now trying not to write in C ++, embedded is trying not to get out of C, and drivers and other sharaga where it would be useful - mainly in the so-called. developed countries or India.
There is a chance that it will be difficult to find a job. Is that Linux + Qt.

Normal companies are quite free to adapt to the programmer, if he has good knowledge. Alternatively, you can get a job as a team leader and enter what you want.
All working projects are more or less actively developing, otherwise they are simply closed.

There are in Volgograd:
- gcc 3.xx
- svn, transition to git is being discussed
- trac as a bug tracker, there are several QA people in the state
- isn't the source text documentation for a professional?
- the project is developing, many plans, lack of developers

Well, with gcc 4.5 and higher, it’s tight, people are not actively switching to fresh server solutions, we are sitting on 4.2.1, and from my acquaintances in the country, they are usually even lower.
In general, you need to try to search, no one will beat you if you ask to talk to a technical specialist and ask him.

Your requirements are too specific, and for me personally, they mean Linux programming. Because most (I guess) on windows use MSVC, and on mac gcc4.2. Forerunners, of course, use clang on Mac.
Therefore, if you are not a pure Linuxoid, I would advise you to install clang + MSVC. Otherwise, I think there will be no problems, there are a lot of projects on git now. I do not think that Kyiv is lagging behind.
You were rightly told, look for a job on hh, talk and find out what and how in this or that office.

In Moscow, it is a big problem to find people who know the pros well. True, we still have gcc 4.4 (ubuntu lucid), but some things can already be done and only under presize, and there is already 4.6. There is a lot of work, interesting projects, there are almost no adequate candidates :) But somehow I doubt that you will move to Moscow ...

All the time we are actively recruiting a variety of C++ developers in Kharkov (different projects on the subject, different operating systems...). People are hard to find. There are even more vacancies in Kyiv, and there are no people either.
But do the existing vacancies match the "company of your dreams" in all respects? - Decide for yourself.
