Is it possible to edit the code in the WP admin panel or do I need to go to the host?

I was given a task in WordPress. They asked me to insert a couple of links, in the usual code it's easy. But I got completely confused in the WordPress admin panel, as it seemed to me that I couldn’t get to the code at all. Maybe it's better to request access to files on the host? To be honest, I have never done this before. So far, I've only tried everything on the computer, but then I encountered such stupidity and was confused. Looking for advice for a beginner

Appearance > Editor is the code editor for theme files.
Plugins > Editor - plugin code editor.
