Is it possible to download Mac OS X updates to 10.8 from another computer?

I have an iMac bought on August 22nd that is eligible for a free upgrade to the latest version of Mac OS. To do this, I filled out an application on the apple website, and received a secret code by e-mail that allows me to upgrade for free. But the fact is that the Internet at work, where the desired poppy is located, is so lousy that it is not possible to update right there.
Actually the question - is it possible to download this update at home and install it at work? For example, as was the case with service packs from 10.7.3 to 10.7.4.

I would bring the Mac home for an update, since the bosses can't make a good Internet and I have to work.
