I'm going to take myself a Mikrotik RB952Ui-5ac2nD router for experiments. I myself am a Linux user. In this regard, the question is: Are there settings that can be done through winbox, but cannot be done through the terminal or web interface?

I do not know about such settings that can only be done through winbox. I never needed winbox (but I didn’t do something fancy on my home microtic). On the other hand, I used to know that winbox runs normally on Linux, and right now I checked it again. Runs instantly through wine.

There are things in Mikrotik that can only be done through the terminal. Until recently, WOL could only be run in a terminal, but has recently been added to Winbox. And the web interface is completely identical to winbox
