You make a backup.
Check that it really has become and you can recover from it.
On the iron server, install a server Windows (you can even upgrade the version of Windows if you wish), make it an additional domain controller in an existing domain.
You raise the same services on the iron server as on the virtual one (dhcp, dns, etc., if necessary, reconfigure the DNS server for client machines) and lower the virtual server to a regular domain member. Turn off the virtual server (you can restart the physical server even after turning it off) and check that everything works.
If this is the only controller in your domain, I would do this:
Make a systemstate backup on the virtual server using wbadmin (the Windows Server Backup component must be installed) and extinguish it
On the physical server, raise the same Windows up to the version
Install AD, but do not configure anything + install the Windows Server Backup
component Boot in ad repair mode (msconfig - check the appropriate box in the boot settings)
In ad repair mode, restore from a freshly created backup.
If everything lives, the virtual server can be killed.
