Looking at what is corrupted in this image.
Theoretically, some drivers can be damaged, and damaged drivers can turn on some extreme modes in hardware. And then something will burn out from overheating or overvoltage.
Or reflash some components, such as a BIOS or a disk controller, bringing them to the "brick" state.
But the chances that this will happen by chance tend to zero. Rather, the image will not start, or it will be abundantly strewed with errors.
