Is it possible to create a product without a trade offer?

Hello dear Toaster users.

Today I wanted to talk about something sore, Bitrix developers will surely understand me that you will not get bored with this CMS.

Story:I can’t say that I am a specialist in the field of Bitrix website development, but I had a chance to delve into the code, components, templates and other files pretty much. It’s not a problem for me to pull any design, create functionality, and so on. But the difficulty still overtook me. I tried to create a product without a trade offer, filled everything in, created properties, set it up, but it didn’t work! If you do not fill in the property values, then the quantity of the product is not added, and the product itself refuses to go into the basket, like a capricious girl, they say I won’t go without property values, and that’s it! I tried to redo the component code, but even here Bitrix cruelly faked me, I had to return everything from the backup as it was. So, I thought, I can influence the appearance of the deployed product, get into the component and stupidly comment out, or delete a piece of code altogether, which displays the properties of the product. To the extremecss to help
<div style="display:none;">content</div>
me But many will agree with me that these are crutches! Why reinvent the wheel, if the created one rides so well!?

QUESTION: Can I create a product without a trade offer, and if so, where is the manual - instructions on how to do this? We need a working version with adding to the cart and choosing the quantity. Thank you for your responsiveness and tolerance for my ignorance in the field of Bitrix.
