Is it possible to cover the office with 2 wifi routers with the same SSID, network settings and password?
Is such a solution practiced? If not, how to solve it?

Yes, it is possible, yes it is practiced.
Only one of them should be a router, the second one is just an access point connected to the LAN of the first one with a cable.
