Is it possible to connect Joomla to a site where it was already installed?

There is a site to which Joomla was connected, later the site was transferred to another hosting, which also has the ability to install it. Is it possible to connect joomla again without dancing with a tambourine? And does it exist at all?

When transferring a site to Joomla from hosting to hosting, you do NOT need to install Joomla in a new location. You need to properly create a backup copy of the site in the old place and transfer this backup copy to the new hosting. I recommend using the Akeeba Backup component (link - instructions for Joomla 2.5, but I think it will work the same way on other versions). The component itself makes a backup copy of the site files and database, archives it all into one file, which can then be conveniently unpacked and installed in a new location in a couple of clicks.
