Is it possible to connect an HTML site to a CMS?

The following question arose: there is a site written in HTMl, CSS, JS (just files), it works, everything is fine, and now it became necessary to replace the content and various CMS immediately came to mind. So, is it possible to connect such a site to a CMS such as Joomla?

In such cases, MODX Revo is great . It has built-in automatic import of html files.
Install the pdoTools plugin (applications - installer), and it already has a menu: pdoMenu and pdoSitemap for sitemap.xml.
Next, form a template from the page by embedding MODX tags into the existing page .
