Is it possible to connect a speaker to the sim800l module instead of a microphone and a speaker at the same time?

The module itself has microphone and speaker outputs. Is it possible to somehow connect a speaker to both listen through it and speak? Maybe there is some kind of circuit or you can just connect directly.

The sound output to the speaker will go to the microphone input in this case. Unless by the type of walkie-talkie - you press the button - you speak, let go - you listen.

Essentially you want to short the input to the output.
You can do it, but why?

IMHO nonsense because the speaker will also hear himself, i.e. you dial me, I say something to you and I hear not only you but also myself, and this is without taking into account the mixing of incoming / outgoing sound. signal.

Can:

  • so-called. "opposite scheme" (see search engines);
  • or the "reception-transmission" switch, as 15432 writes .

Directly - no.
