Is it possible to configure the router as an unmanaged switch?

The router receives the Internet from the gateway. DHCP is running on the gateway. You need to somehow force user computers to receive IP addresses from the gateway, including Wi-Fi clients. Is it possible to do this or will I have to distribute my IPs?

It is possible in most cases, especially on SOHO variants, the simplest thing is to disable DHCP on the router and plug the uplink not in wan but in lan, it will work like a switch without other settings.

Turn off DHCP and plug the cable into the LAN port, leaving WAN empty. There will be a switch.

Turn off DHCP and WAN on the router, plug the wire into the LAN port, next to your PCs.

Router - RT-AC66U. If you connect the Internet to the WAN, then everything works fine, but it distributes addresses 192.168.0.x, which does not suit me. If you connect to the LAN, then the message "Not connected WAN" appears instead of the Internet. Firewall, NAT, etc. disabled, DHCP too. I didn’t figure out what the Jumbo Frame and HW Accelerator items are (do I need to disable them?) And what to register then in the local IP of the router (or do you need a static IP from the gateway there?).
