Is it possible to combine Ethernet and Token Ring?
I answered no, because in Token Ring, a token is used that determines who can receive packets, and Ethernet is a common bus where there is no place for a token and equipment such as a terminator, connector and repeater is used there, and in the ring the stations themselves are connectors and repeaters. I got a point down for this answer. I want to know the opinion of experts: is it possible or not?

T-connectors, terminators and repeaters in Ethernet are gone a long time ago along with coaxial cable. Almost all modern technology operates over twisted pair in point-to-point mode, without a common collision domain and is combined on switches.
Token ring is also practically not used anywhere now because of its low speed (16 Mbit / s). Faster versions appeared late and were not commercially successful.
So such a question speaks only about the antiquity of the studied material.
And you can combine such networks, just put a switch / router that understands both protocols.
