Help in choosing hardware for a VPN network

The question arose of creating a VPN network of geographically dispersed stores.
So, the provider issues a standard PPPoE connection to all stores.
You need to let everyone through one vpn server.
What hardware to use to automate the rise on each store, first PPPoE-, then vpn-connections?

Depends on your budget.
Little money - D-links, Tplinks to stores, server from *nix to a warehouse (office). But get ready for failures and disconnections.
Take a little more money Asus / LinkSys with custom firmware and still the same server.
Money - "as much as you need", in each store on a server on Intel Atom or some kind of nettop. For each, put the most familiar * nix + VPN client to you.

almost any router with VPN support.
at least dlink, at least linksys - it all depends on your financial capabilities and the availability of a particular model for sale.
Specify the question, otherwise it is not clear what exactly to answer.
What VPN connection will be used, etc.

Isn't it easier to order a channel lease from the provider, and at the head office already see what to put. Depends on the nuances.
