Is it possible to cheat through a contract?

Hey!
I would like to ask a question.
Recently I received an order and I had to conclude a contract with them.
In the terms of the contract in one of the paragraphs it was written: For violation, the contractor pays the customer for each violated day 2% of the amount (120 thousand).
I sent all my passport data as a screenshot, and all that was left was to send the signature, but due to circumstances I could not start the project and did not send the signature and said that I could not send the signature and work too, they said that everything was fine.
Question: Can they deceive me by having all my passport details and my signature on the passport?

I worked with the customer a couple of times like this:
1. I print out the contract. I sign, scan and send to the customer.
2. It prints out my scan. Signs, scans and sends to me.
In terms of legal force. A contract is an oral or written agreement between individuals/legal entities.
In the details, specify the e-mail of the customer and the contractor, so all correspondence will be proof in which case. You can probably specify some messengers, but I'm not sure.
Even with Yandex Checkout, the contract is just sending a scan)

You would specify what legal power "sending a signature" has under the laws of the Russian Federation. I think that none, so even if you sent it, the contract would not have legal force. But this needs to be clarified by professionals.

Without a signature - there is no contract,
but having full passport data, they can take a loan in your name: D
