Is it possible to become a middle/senior without a job?
In general, let's say the question is more about the possibilities.
Interestingly, without work experience but with great knowledge and projects, can you become a middle/senior? Do you know about people who studied not in companies but on their own and came there already as middles / seniors?

Certainly. By acquaintance, the children of officials ...
Previously, the children of nobles were enrolled in the army immediately after birth and they began to serve as an officer: www.bolshoyvopros.ru/questions/986951-zachem-dvorj ...
But seriously, the presence of knowledge and projects does not fit with the lack of experience.
Just like becoming a boxing champion without ever stepping into the ring.
middle/senior
In theory, it's possible.
I studied backend in PHP + Laravel + a bit of frontend at home for two years.
When they hired me as a junior, after 2 months they were already transferred to a higher position, since I coped with the tasks quickly and efficiently (relative to a junior).
I know one such example, this is Linus Torvalds. You just need to make a product that is used on millions of machines. And then some company (redhat) will hire you.
Middle is just the corresponding salary and an entry in the contract. This has nothing to do with knowledge. There was recently an article on Habré about a course where, instead of technical skills, they were taught to go through social security and how to stay at work without practical knowledge. As it turned out - sometimes, to become a middle, it is enough to be able to fuck well. Well, of course, no one canceled the connection. In normal companies, they are immediately recognized. But not all companies have enough qualified staff.
Theory without practice in IT is generally useless. How do you think to become a pro - reading books and docks? So now books become obsolete while they are being written, and docks often do not keep up with the development of how quickly everything develops.
No way, at the very first job of a jun you will understand that you did not even have a clue about a huge number of things
