Is it possible to automatically arrange icons on MacOS 10.8.5?

Friends, hello everyone! I have been working on a poppy for a long time, but somehow I was too lazy to ask this question, but I myself did not figure it out. In general, the only trouble that haunts me (I work on 10.8.5 if anything) is that the icons themselves do not align.
That is, where you dragged the file, there it lies. Where you dragged the Application, it remains there (it may even fit on another icon). Of course, you can align it, but you need to click the mouse every time and select "arrange", etc.
Is there any option that allows you to always, automatically and in all folders align icons to the grid? How to set it up? Or perhaps someone knows a smart application for these purposes. For example, I have several working folders, I always throw files there from the desktop, and they are somehow in disarray there. Each time strains them to align by hand.
Thank you!
