Overheating and fast battery drain macbook pro 15 2018?

I bought a poppy for a day and everything would be fine if it didn’t warm up on the same day (60-85 degrees) and the battery flew off just before our eyes, probably 40 percent in a couple of hours. I used chrome, set the maximum brightness of the screen. But the problem is that on a Windows computer, under the same conditions, the case was warm at most, but here it’s hot and the battery flies. What could it be? Should I call the store and report the problem, if any?

Here is the answer to your question. The case on your Windows laptop was probably made of plastic? and the thermal conductivity is different...

Perhaps a little late, but I myself had a similar problem just after I decided to switch from safari to chrome only because of the vague advantage for me in the form of a large number of available extensions (which you still rarely use), and also because frequent jamming of the safari itself (as it turned out later, this was due to the crooked version).
From time to time, the computer normally got so warm, it ate the battery without getting saturated. Basically, the work time was somewhere around 5, if not even 4 hours. Recently I realized that enough was enough for me, I transferred the bookmarks from chrome to safari, and lo and behold, the result is excellent: it works from 7 hours at medium to 11 hours at low load.
Therefore, I advise you to go on a safari, especially if you need energy efficiency.
