Is it possible to add mods to the game in the form of JavaScript on the iPhone?
The company's policy seems to be that the game cannot download executable pieces of code. You can only content - data, pictures, text, music, movies. But not functional.
The exception, it seems, is the WebView component, into which, in theory, it can load scripts in the form of js files, well, or html with inline scripts.
The question is, will Apple be offended if mods for the game are made in the form of JS scripts and allowed to be "installed" into the game from the game's website right in the game itself? What will it look like from a legal point of view ? In theory, the mods themselves can even be in the Lua language, and in the component you can translate them into JS, and formally everything seems to be ok. While it's possible legally a Lua vm machine won't work, I'm not sure here.
