Is it possible in OpenStreetMap to represent a road as a continuous line?

As I understand now in OSM, a road is a set of segments.
I have a set of points, some of which (about 5%) due to GPS error can be mistakenly tied to neighboring roads. I would like to filter these errors, but I can't figure out how to do it. the road in OSM as I understand it is just a set of segments.
By the way, another question is whether you can trust the speed limits based on the type of road. For example, that in the city you can not go faster than 60 km per hour?

  • 1A. Streets of the same name can be glued into one segment.
In my opinion, something similar was told in this video , or somewhere in the neighboring ones.

the type of road has nothing to do with speed parameters. the type of road reflects its importance for the passage of vehicles. a dozen cars pass an hour, but constantly - unclassified, a dozen cars rushing in ten minutes - tertiary, etc.
speed parameters are usually entered in maxspeed
