Is it possible for win10 to prioritize wifi instead of ethernet?
The bottom line is that you often need to set up some kind of piece of hardware, the connection to which is made by a laptop via a wire. The piece of iron has DHCP, immediately gives out the address, the laptop sees it - this is convenient. For example, a new router at the facility, when a connection to the provider has not yet been configured on it. I would like to remotely connect to this laptop, but when you connect the wire, the Wi-Fi connection automatically turns off. I tried Windows policies according to the instructions of the Internet - it does not help, perhaps they simply stopped working in new releases of Windows.
Also, Windows 10 ignores metrics, in foreign guides they say "I stopped respecting metrics." Those. there is no difference if you put "999" metric on Ethernet and "1" on Wi-Fi
Does anyone have an up-to-date solution?
