Is it good practice to make a folder in openserver that matches the domain name?

I am doing a project on wp, I used to call projects site.loc, I thought it might be better to immediately name site.ru, so that when you launch it directly on the hosting, you don’t have to deal with renaming. Is it good practice?

I once did the same as you (site1.lok, sile2.lok), but after that I refused in favor of the name site.ru, due to the fact that some plugins in WP are so clumsy that when moving to a new domain, the site breaks and you have to figure out the reasons. I refused those plug-ins, but the habit remained.
