Is it difficult to get a job as a junior developer at Google / Apple / PayPal?

Are there mere mortals here who work as developers in top companies? Is it difficult to get there?
It should be added that the coding is mostly in PHP. About 2.5 years of commercial experience.

Difficult compared to what? With a device in a noname office? Obviously yes. Firstly, in a top company, the requirements are higher (even for interns), and secondly, there are many who want to get there, so only the best of the best will be selected as part of the competition. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't even try. All companies post vacancies on their websites: google , apple , paypal . See the requirements, write responses and you might be lucky.

You are asking a strange question, really. If you have 2.5 years of "coding" in PHP and you are still positioned as a junior - something is going wrong, you need to take on your knowledge. Nobody needs coders, people with a head and knowledge are needed. Pull up knowledge in algorithms, learn some other languages - for the horizon. It is unprofitable for a company to teach someone who does not learn himself.

What makes a top company different from other companies in your opinion? Everything is the same there in terms of employment, too.

There is , it seems to be working in Yandex, “get it” with questions, but you “get it” more, you need to write the same thing 5 times under different answers, otherwise it will be ignored!

it’s not difficult to get a job, but they don’t take juniors to work, they have all sorts of schools there, you can go to study in them

getting a job as a junior developer at Google / Apple / PayPal is unrealistic at all!
Junior positions are usually filled by trainees. Most often it's free.
