Should I include academic work in my resume (website on Symfony 2)?

Hello.
Should you include in your resume the work you do for yourself for the purpose of training?
Learning Symfony, wrote a small website. I haven’t gained any experience with this framework on real projects yet (I’m afraid of freelancing, but we don’t use Symphony at work).

It is possible and necessary. In general, my entire portfolio is demos made before going to bed from nothing to do. Naturally, I started with random nonsense that just lived in my head, but then eventually grew to the implementation of quite cool concepts. 95% of clients never even asked about real projects. Naturally, it’s better at the same time to still post some on the github so that the code can be immediately evaluated.

Example.com (study project).
And what is it? They took and wrote. But it all depends on which resume to shove such things into. If you are applying for a team leader, then it makes no sense, if you are a junior / middle, then write and don’t think.

I support the answers above. In case there is at least some understanding of the framework and how it works, this may be enough for a junior / middle. In any case, the junior will complete his studies, and the middle will be able to navigate even with a small amount of knowledge.
