Is it advisable to use exFAT for SATA HDD?

Is it advisable to use exFAT for a 186 GB SATA HDD? Or is it better to format in NTFS? And will exFAT provide any advantages over NTFS?

If for some reason you clearly need ExtFAT and you clearly know what it is for, use it.
In all other cases - NTFS.

If you are going to use this drive on systems that do not understand NTFS (that is, not with Windows) ....
But just what are these mysterious systems.
On reading all modern NTFS are able.
Is that not everyone knows how to write.
Well, or it will be some kind of embedded solution that only FAT can do ....
Reliability of FAT is RADICALLY lower.
