Is Final Cut possible on Hackintosh?

There was a need to use Final Cut. Reminds me of hackintosh. There is an almost unused powerful Acer laptop available. Is it possible to use Final Cut normally on a hackintosh for a full-fledged director's work?

Yes, it's possible. In principle, even if the hardware is minimally similar to Mac OS, then you can install the assembly, and, with a little trickery, run the Mac. And for video, the main thing is to get started: sound, processor, video card. P.S. I use iMovie on a hackintosh (average asus laptop), everything works fine. So you won't have any problems. Good luck with your video ;)

All new versions of FCP check the hardware for "hackintosh". Three times faced with the inability to start. Express works, Pro doesn't. TeamViewer used to have similar protection.
The limitation is bypassed by installing the Retail version and correctly indicating the serial number of the poppy.

In Leopard 10.5.3 it worked without problems. No lag, renders faster than AAE under Windows 7.

Yes, but with some brakes often. There were cases when it didn’t start because of the video, but I use the entire software package from Final Cut Studio, everything works fine. 10.6.7

Maybe. I tried it myself. There are a few troubles there so that FC works correctly, you can take a long time. Information can be found here: tonymacx86.com .
If hunting with a guarantee and without hemorrhoids - there are ready-made solutions from our guys BIZON PC: bizon-pc.com . They specialize in installations. I know the studios in which they work, they are satisfied.
