Is a TN matrix really necessary for design?
There is an option to buy a monitor with 1 + billion colors and 4k resolution, but with a TN matrix.
Or is it still better to take ips with 16 million colors?
I will not sit at the corners of the monitor. What is more important than the number of colors or the matrix?

"Mid-ceiling" IPS for design is better than "medium-ceiling" TN, regardless of the DAC bit depth and resolution.
It is more convenient to sit on IPS for a long time, and on TN it is fundamentally impossible to adjust the color rendition: it changes even when you turn your head.
UPD. I am writing "mid-ceiling" because I have seen bad IPS at the TN level. Maybe there were good gaming TNs at the level of IPSs of the average hand, I personally have not seen such.
