Is a sudden power outage harmful to a power supply with APFC?
Good afternoon.
At home, the light began to fail frequently. Sometimes for 1-2 seconds, sometimes for 10 seconds, which leads to a sharp shutdown of the computer. Tried to buy a UPS, but he can't pull the power supply with apfc. It would seem possible to score, but on several resources I saw messages from users who write that a sharp power outage is very bad for power supplies with apfc. Would like to know if this is the case?
And in general, is a sudden power outage harmful to the computer?
Thank you for attention.

Any disconnection of the block from the network is abrupt - whether it be from the outside, or a toggle switch, or a plug from the network. This is the state of the art.
But the software will not say thank you - sooner or later the system will crash or you will miss the files.
