Is a shared IP secure for a VPN?

Good afternoon. The price difference between dedicated and shared IP for VPN is significant, I plan to use it to view blocked pages.

Someone writes that a dedicated IP is better, because several people use the common one and if someone messes up, the IP will be blocked for everyone. How safe is all this in terms of data leaks, hacks, etc.? Before using Internet banking, it is not difficult for me to turn off the VPN, is this measure effective?

From a security point of view, using a shared IP is perfectly safe. Data leaks do not depend on whether you have a public IP or your own. They depend on what you are doing so that there are no leaks. The VPN operator can also help (see CityCat4 answer )

because several people use the common one and if someone messes up, the IP will be blocked for everyone.

There is such. But they will block only on the resource on which this someone messed up.
If a dedicated IP costs extra money, then most likely you can rent a VDS for the same money and raise your own VPN there.

Another super-duper VPN application that no one knows who administers? Dude, there is a good chance that this VPN is administered by the special services of a particular country - maybe not directly, but "on a curve", but all the information is still merged.
The only reliable VPN is yours

How do you imagine a VPN without your own IP? How will you administer the server and what will the VPN client connect to?
