Is a promising job in IT possible without the appropriate education?

Preface. I have a secondary medical education, behind 2 years of experience in the ambulance. From the school bench I was interested in "computers", in particular in terms of hardware. As a student, he tried his best to increase his capital. I started selling souvenirs on Ebay, and ended up mining / trading on exchanges (mtgox made me happy).
Therefore, I determined for myself the key points of work:
1. Work in a young team.
2. Lack of an insane amount of bosses with an army of assistants to the humanities.
3. Small companies.
Having removed rose-colored glasses, I made an analysis of most of the vacancies on hh.ru:
1. "Young dynamically developing companies" in need of "highly qualified" workers. You are looking for customers and offer them Pots, Vacuum cleaners, Internet, Filters (underline as appropriate). There is no need to talk about salary.
2. You:
a) With at least X years of work experience. In large projects and portals.
b) Speak English/German/French fluently.
c) You know X amount of programming languages.
d) But, at heart you are a creative person with experience in graphic design.
Salary in Belarus, from $ 1000 and above.
3. You have a relevant higher education, no work experience. Salary discussion after internship.

What is the line of work?
To a programmer - show a live profile on github - and you will be taken to fairly large projects without a confirmed work experience.
The only point of a crust about education in it is to pass a screening in the personnel department.
If there is nothing to show, then yesterday's graduates, even with all sorts of honors diplomas, face the question "what next? What for this useless diploma to me?"

It's a pity you want to leave the ambulance. It's still very useful and good work - to treat people. I think you have already saved many lives and it is very good.
In IT, you can get a job as a seller or sales manager of computers and other equipment, where higher technical education is not always required. For example, you can search for large stores that sell computers and other equipment and send them a resume for a vacancy related to the sale of computers and equipment.
Trading in securities, etc. speculation, incl. forex, bitcoin, mining is a sin, it leads a person to problems, anxiety and punishment.
And trading in goods and making money on the delivery of goods from one place to another is good.

1. You will not find IT specialists, especially in the regions, during the day with fire. Everyone goes to DNS consultants or sucks in vacuum cleaners.
2.
a) - Companies not directly focused on the IT sector, but who need an IT specialist or an engineer, apply to recruitment agencies, and they, in turn, stamp vacancies according to the template.
b) - usually technical English is enough for the device in 95% of cases. Without knowledge of English but with knowledge of your business, it is also not difficult to get a job.
c) - It's like in that vacancy "Requires a system administrator, knowledge of programming languages middle and above C ++, C, bash, bat, java, js, html, T-SQL ... Salary up to 45,000".
In other words, write your resume. You write honestly. What can you do. Do not enter there what you are not well versed in or indicate it like "I know a little Java". After that, you post on hh and send it to recruitment agencies.
