iPhone and roaming?
Kind.
Story.
The authorities bought the iPhone 4 in the Euroset. Operator - Megafon. They took a microsim, did an activation with it. I checked if data roaming is disabled so as not to go broke on the Internet.
The phone in the city works, everything is fine.
Now the authorities have gone to Switzerland. iPhone stubbornly does not see the network - it does not register.
Next to him lies his second phone, an ordinary Nokia with a different number, also a Megaphone - everything is fine - calls, sms ... i.e. There are towers nearby!
Short.
Operator - Megafon.
Settings in the iPhone (except for activation) were not made.
iPhone does not work when roaming.
Nokia of the same operator nearby works.
According to this instructionphone - turned off / on, manual operator selection was made ... zero effect.
The balance is more than 500 rubles, the service is activated.
I called support, there was no sense, but they tried.
Ideas, suggestions, screenshots...

I think the cant is in the tariff plan, it's certainly not the iPhone.
Data roaming is data roaming and has nothing to do with voice data. You can turn off all (Cellular Data) cellular networks or how it is in Russian. And there will be no internet.
If you have tried everything from the apple support. Something either with the phone or with the operator.
The iPhone came with a microsym to sim adapter. Check iPhone sim card in nokia.
Buy a local prepaid microsim / sim card (with a knife / scissors you can make it in a micro sim in a minute) and check the iPhone.
