iPad2 with 3G from the States?

Due to the fact that I buy iPad2 in the USA, the question arose.
Now the Cupertians sell two options with 3G - one sharpened for AT & T, the other for Verizon. As far as I remember, the first iPad was not imprisoned for anything and you could simply insert any SIM card, incl. and Russian.
Are problems expected in the second incarnation of the tablet, i.e. if you just buy it and bring it, will you have to wait for any unlocks?

AT-T - GSM operator, Verizon - CDMA. Apparently this is the difference - in the 3G communication module

I understand that an opinion without evidence is not enough, which gives, but I'm sure that an unlocked device is sold under AT & T. It's all about communication standards. In any case, I would be very surprised if there would be a lock.

Looks like it shouldn't be locked.
Usually they say at the presentation what is locked on!

For Russia, you need to buy only the AT&T version (GSM), there are no CDMA operators here.
