International shipping
Recently I ran into the problem of sending parcels from Moscow abroad. What are the options for sending
small loads? You need to send small light cardboard boxes with all sorts of accessories.
I considered several options: FedEx, UPS, DHL - but everywhere the cost of delivery is simply huge,
with a product price of 500 rubles, the cost of delivery goes from 1.5k to 4k rubles, which is unacceptable by itself.
It would also be great if at least a minimal API was available for calculating shipping costs and delivery times.
If anyone has experience with this sort of thing, I'd be very grateful.

Post office? No matter how funny it may sound :)
I was sent a parcel to Ukraine last year. Weight - about 2 kg. Somewhere 20x20x20 cm.
The cost of the goods is 1450 rubles. Delivery cost 630 rubles.
Have you looked at Global Mail by DHL? They deliver from the USA to Ukraine for $4-6 up to 2 kg of a parcel.
Look at www.edost.ru/
There is a test period and they use a database of 16 delivery companies.
I sold everything on ebay, sent it by Russian Post and EMS, depending on what was asked. It came surprisingly not so much to say for a long time. Ems has a calculator on the site , I don’t know about api.
Get ready to immediately fill out the declaration in three copies, it is better to download and fill out at home.
I sent parcels (up to 2 kg) to Kazakhstan and Ukraine on the eve of 2013 by Russian Post. Roughly for 300 g of weight - 200 rubles, for 400 - 300 rubles. At the post office, in addition to sending, you will need to weigh each attachment item (that is, do not seal it in advance!) And fill out a declaration (small CN form). All AVIA.
