Intel PRO/1000 vs virtio-net: which is better for network security in VirtualBox?

Good afternoon!
Tell me, is there a difference in terms of security between emulating a network card in VirtualBox (Intel PRO / 1000, for example) and the virtio module?
Thanks

virtio is 1-2-3 orders faster.
And for security, you should use more production-oriented hypervisors - KVM, Hyper-V, ESXi and others - they have a larger user pool, therefore bugs are reported and fixed more quickly.

on average equipenisual.
communication between the host and the guest does not go beyond the host (unless it is done on purpose).
if the host is hacked, then no one will break through the network to the guest, there are straighter ways.
Driver bugs are not known in advance, so the probability of hacking the driver and exiting the guest bubble through it is equivalent for both.
