I want to take an Intel core 2 quad 9550 processor, and then I came across the same model only with the letters S and 65 watts of power, which means it will heat up less.
(Googled that this is some kind of desktop version, but didn’t google what is the desktop version of the processor?)
- What does this S mean?
- Can I buy such a processor (and will it work?) and it will heat up much less?
