Installing Windows XP instead of UBUNTU?
Instead of Ubuntu, I'm trying to install Windows XP, since I'm going to give a laptop.
1. Created a boot disk via WinSetupUSB.
I formatted the disk in NTFS in it
Created a configuration and unpacked the Windows XP image onto a USB flash drive
2. Set the Removable device priority in the BIOS in the Boot tab
3. Still loads ubuntu and does not see the USB flash drive

look in the Boot section not Removable device, but HDD (something like that), most likely a flash drive there!
put it in the first place.
Set the BIOS priority to Remove device in the Boot tabAnd after that, you need to find a specific flash drive in the list of disks and put it first.
It formatted the disk in ntfs formatWhat for? The windows installation disk wants to be in fat32 or fat16 at least. There have also been successful experiments with dumb cdrom dumps (i.e. the udf file system or whatever iso uses fz for).
