I decided to migrate from FF to Chrome, I ran into a problem: Chrome requires Google to log in in order to install the extension from their store. Is this a normal reaction and is there any way to treat it? Or "don't like it, don't eat it"?

You can download, but in this case you lose updates (yes, this is not critical, as it is fixed by the script):
- you need to go to the page of the desired extension in the chrome store and https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/название расширения/lpbcmeihkgpndiagnaknkfpkhbdcmjhi?hl=ru&gl=RUcopy the ID of this extension in the address bar after the last slash (in this case, lpbcmeihkgpndiagnaknkfpkhbdcmjhi) ;
- now open a browser other than Chrome and paste in the address bar https://clients2.google.com/service/update2/crx?response=redirect&x=id%3Dвставить_ID_сюда%26uc, as a result, you should get an address of the form https://clients2.google.com/service/update2/crx?response=redirect&x=id%3Dlpbcmeihkgpndiagnaknkfpkhbdcmjhi%26uc;
- after downloading, you need to drag the extension to the extensions panel in the Chrome settings.

As an option - create a Google account only for chrome.
