Industrial production of pieces of iron

Suppose there is a designed consumer electronic piece of iron in the following composition:
1. pcb
2. case

What is the process of sending the product to industrial production (manufacturer search, certification, delivery, etc.)?
I would love to hear from those with similar experience.

Everything will have to be done in China, multi-layers (5 layers) in Russia, in my opinion, they don’t even know how to do.
Usually it happens like this, you order a scheme, you buy a kit for a prototype, usually with a margin of 4x.
Then we go to China (the designer will tell you to whom or google it yourself), order a board, the first 4 copies will be damn expensive.
We get a kit and a fee, we find a left-handed person who can solder it, or we go to some factory and ask to solder them in an oven (there is a big problem that factories are not interested in this in any way, since piece soldering).
Voila, there is a possibly working prototype.
We decide what fakes we will have, well, there are 6 usb ports there, there are a dozen light bulbs and we go to the industrial designer to make the case (it all depends on the material of the case). Easier if plastic or equivalent.
If the case is ready (here you need to check everything three times because the mold for the case is so expensive), again we are looking for a Chinese who can make a mold, give him a project and pay (here I’ll say that as far as I remember, the mold costs from 100,000 to 400,000, depending on complexity and where you order). Most likely, in the same place where the mold was ordered, you can also order the manufacture of cases, and where the board was ordered, order its mass production and soldering of the device, then we are looking for a third Chinese who would assemble it all into one device, if the first two of course do not know how.

Hulls are expensive to make in Russia. The maximum here you can make a model and cast prototypes. The mold is uniquely faster and cheaper in China. It is already possible to cast in Russia.
PCB can be made in Russia, but it all depends on the level of complexity and the number of layers.
Contract assembly - definitely China. In Russia, the assembly is lame.

If you do not want a bunch of clones of your device to appear in China, divide its production into several companies. In one, the manufacture of only the case, in the other, everything else, assembly in Russia, etc.
Cases in Russia are not only expensive and of poor quality. We had the aluminum body anodized 3 times before they burned the whole lot. Total 2 months + money down the drain.
