Indicate the approximate direction of research for a master's thesis?

I am studying software engineering. Now the question of choosing the direction of research for work is acute. If we talk about my skills, then for the most part it is C#, Asp.net, js. I would like, of course, that the final topic could be "wrapped" in web technology, i.e. that the final product would be a website that could be deployed. I am currently in my first year of graduate school. Previous bachelor's work was related to the development of a HelpDesk system on Asp.net mvc. Its further development is not suitable for a master's thesis.
Now very popular areas such as AI and DataMining. But in which direction exactly to dig in these directions, I'll never know.
Thanks in advance.
Update:
If we talk about AI, then I'm interested in the topic of expert systems, but I can't find a practical task that would be relevant and fall under the criteria of a master's.

The subject matter is interesting. Do not engage (do not waste time) on something that will not be subsequently implemented. Create "your google", after all, it also started as a thesis. What are you interested in, what do you understand, and want to start understanding even better? Seriously think YOURSELF, do not rely on "scientific leaders" who will impose on you what is interesting to them and what THEY understand. I myself am partly a supervisor, I can advise this ....
ps Be smart.

In the dissertation, it is important to accurately define the problem, justify it and offer a solution. Or analyze some solutions + your own and say that there is no effective one yet.
Dig towards a knowledgeable leader. If you don’t find a manager, you will have to go to work “in certain companies that everyone doesn’t like because of their love for the Olympiads” and you won’t get off with freelancing in javascript. As a result, you can write a dissertation of the level "1st year bachelor's degree from a top European university" and go to make websites.
