UPD dated 06/14/2019. Ultimately, I chose ModulBank. In my business vision scenario, it had minimal monthly costs.
Also, a year later, I can suggest a life hack:
Modulbank has the opportunity to buy a tariff forever, when you pay a certain amount at once and no longer pay anything towards the subscription fee. Coupled with the accrual of interest on the current account balance (money from profits left to pay taxes), the payback on the purchase of an "eternal" tariff is reduced from 2 years to 1 year (in my case).
I think any of the listed banks will do.
But in a strange way, everyone answers: "I use X, everything is ok." There are no specifics, especially since the TS wants to "minimize bank commissions and maximize the amount that can be sent to an account in another bank.".
I propose to paint the basic costs. I myself use the module.
* The module has an intermediary bank (as I understand it, this is Raiffeisen). When transferring currency to his account, he takes a percentage. From ~2000 USD it was about 15-17 USD.
* Bank account - 490r (optimal tariff)
* Currency control 300r (up to 500k rubles) or 1000r (if 500k - 2M rubles).
* Transfer to another bank 19r - because there are no accounts for physical. persons.
Quarterly expenses: $17 + 3 * 490r + 300r + 19r = $17 + 1789.
If you transfer monthly from a client: ($17 + 300r + 490r) * 3 + 19r
Expenses or part of them can be reduced by interest accrued on the account balance, or you can open a deposit with them at 7% (previously the percentage was higher). For example, you can fully compensate for the contents of the account (490r), or in general all expenses, if there is some free amount.
Also, do not forget that you have to pay tax on bank interest.
Look like that's it.
Used the Module - everything suited.
Moreover, when working directly with the customer, you will have an order of magnitude less headache.
At Upwork you will have a load of a bunch of papers together with VAT.
I have been using Modulbank for 2 years already, everything suits me more than. The bank is constantly evolving.
They have divine currency control that works with Upwork.
I tried the tinkov business - I didn’t like it at all. Complete misunderstanding of how to work with Upwork.
Modulbank wrote just about upwork: https://delo.modulbank.ru/upwork_monitoring
This is a good sign that it will be convenient to work with them.
Personally, I have an account in Modulbank, but I don’t work with upwork.
Well, I’ll answer to the heap about Tinkoff - in general, if the income per month is <= 2-3K (i.e. 150-200 tr.) - then it is the most profitable, we consider for ourselves ( tariffs here ):
- there is no intermediary bank (the their own), so here 0
- "simple" tariff = 490 per month or 4900 per year
- a foreign currency account is free, opens upon request (i.e. you can directly throw $$$ on your card / account and this is the moment!)
- VK 490r
- transfer up to 150 tinkov to your debit card for free, then (up to 400) = 1.5% plus 99 rubles.
Total:
if income per month <=150t.r. then = 490 + 490 = 980.
if the income of thousands is 200 then = 980 + 99 + (50000 * 0.015 = 750) => 1829
and so on up to 2300 and then the next Advanced tariff is already beneficial.
And the same thing - if you pay for the service a year immediately and from the client (or the upwork exchange for example) transfer quarterly - then it's much cheaper, as a homework I propose to calculate in the comments =)
ps Also, as pluses, it is worth noting the instant "transfer to yourself" tinkov (if any) and not banking for several days like others, the same thing with currency.
