In what other ways, besides search engines, can you investigate where and how a competitor advertises his product?
Hello. Actually, the whole question is in the title. Where else to look for how a competitor is promoting its digital product in order to go the same way first, and then find others?

I think that the very formulation of the task of “copying the actions of a competitor” is erroneous. Look for your own ways to promote the product, experiment more and, most importantly, consider the results of your actions. It is important not only what to do, it is even more important how. What a competitor can do well may not work for you, and vice versa.
However, if by subject, then:
1) The most important thing is to look at the market through the eyes of a buyer, that is, read the same sites as him, are in the same groups in the social. networks, periodically ask the same search queries, read magazines, go to events, etc.
2) Some people forget to close access to statistics counters, for example, li was banned, but not on email. From there you can already learn a lot of interesting things.
3) Pretend to be a buyer of competitors yourself.
4) Pretend to be a potential partner of a competitor.
5) Sometimes you can even ask your colleagues in the market directly, for example, while talking on the sidelines.
Some people buy posts \ reviews in blogun.ru/ - all offers from advertisers are open there, you can look for your competitor.
I'm afraid to leave in particular, but I see basically 3 ways to move forward.
1) IRL
2) Content (should be caught by the search)
3) Advertising during installation (i.e. a person installs a program, and they put the start page on your competitor’s website)
I don’t know how to catch 1 way, but as for the third, it’s often these are affiliate programs, i.e. you need to look at the banners on your competitor's website.
Didn't find what you were looking for?
