In the FAT16 file system, what is a folder?
I just did not find how folders work, I read that the root partition is limited to 512 entries.
It seems to me that a folder is just a file in which the fields of files / other folders are written. And the OS simply interprets on some basis what is a folder and what is a file. Is it so?
